• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

NC Siglo Limited Reserve, I got it in a COTM pack. It tasted good, but was ultra crumbly. A fair amount of cream, very little spice. I would've been willing to get some more, until I saw the price, not worth it in my opinion.

Just going to leave this here....

    That's chilling..

Are Cuban cigars really the best?

You're exactly right as well, Aloha, it was unfair of me to say those are "bottom of the line" CC's. I've had a bottom of the line CC... pretty damn bad, heh. But, at least from what I see, those prices are a little misleading. Unless you're in the "know" with somebody, getting those cigars...

    .40 to .22 Pistol Conversion

    No problem. :)

Are Cuban cigars really the best?

I chose both, because there are many that I like from both. But, I feel many of you praising the CC's for their price and putting down the NC's for the same reason are comparing apples to oranges. You are taking the very tip top of the line of NC's and comparing them to nearly the bottom of...

    .40 to .22 Pistol Conversion

You must buy a conversion kit for which ever handgun you choose to do this with. Nobody has made a .22 conversion for the XD, although XDguys have said they were working on one, that was 2 years ago. The most widely available .22 conversion kits are available for Glock. They are made for any...

    Need some help.

That's for sure, I still have my dads old 10/22 that he had before I was born. Still works like a charm, going to teach my children how to shoot with it.

    Need some help.

My wife adores my Ruger Mark 3 hunter, which is full size. You can buy pink grips aftermarket - http://www.rimfiresports.com/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=RSC&Product_Code=VCTRG-3-R-P&Category_Code=VC2 If you're looking for a .22 that is exactly like a regular full size handgun, there are...

    Gun in humidor?

Those Gun Vaults are also good, they look like fingerprint readers as well, but those are actually buttons for you to input the unlock code, with a key backup. They are a little cheaper than the Fort Knox as well. Can be found on the same site, might be able to find them cheaper else where, that...

    Gun in humidor?

This one is more expensive than the other one, but imho it's the best one on the market, bar none. http://www.deansafe.com/ftk-pb.html

    Plugged Fuente. Maybe

It happens, as a matter of fact, it happened to me today with a much cheaper smoke. I didn't last as long as you did though, chucked it after nearly 2 inches.

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

Padron Family Reserve 85th Maduro Awesome cigar, started out with a ton of power, started to get whoozy from it. But, after a half inch, it settled down, and turned into one of the smoothest cigars I've ever had. Hints of dry cocoa and a coffee finish, with smoke that was like having half&half...

    Gun in humidor?

I also have my first child on the way, and I will be doing the same thing. For the price of a box of Padron 2000's, you can get yourself a high quality single handgun safe.

Padron 1926 Serie 80th Maduro Great cigar, but not sure I would get another, I don't think it's worth the premium price over the regular 1926.

Room 101 Namakubi Papi Chu Cigar tasted great, when it would stay lit. I had it go out three times on me, by the last time this tiny cigar was too short to relight. I will have to try another.

    Sterilization question

So, I got online to see if I could find some info on this humidor, turns out it's about as cheap as you can get, a new one costs about $40. So, I'm not going to screw around with it, with my luck, I would put all this time into cleaning it only to find out it doesn't keep humidity. Thanks...

    Sterilization question

Leaving for work as I type this, I will post a pic of it when I get home. The cedar seems to be part of it, though.
