• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Looking for a Deer Rifle

Bolt action has the tighest action. Better acuracy at long range. I like the larger slower round so I don't have to worry about a bleeder running around. The .45/70 has a .360-inch meplat and will cause enough shock at impact to drop any game.

    Looking for a Deer Rifle

I love the guide gun. It's been ported but I've shot a trapdoor before and it kicked like a mule.

    Looking for a Deer Rifle

Marlin Guide Gun in 45/70 This has been my choice for the last 8 years, but I haven't had a chance to take it out in Indiana yet. I'm looking to see if it qualifies as a cowboy cartridge and then would be able to hunt in some of the counties. There isn't anyhting in North America that the...

    SoCal fires

I guess my old hood is safe. Anahiem High is an evacutaion center, and that's like right across the street from the neighborhood.

    SoCal fires

Anahiem caught on fire? What part? I still have friends ( don't really talk to them much) around D-Land. Is the Register covering it?

    SoCal fires

I don't miss the fires. I used to watch the hillside burn at lunch when I worked in Azusa. The flames were just on the otherside of the freeway, wreaked hell on my sinus.

    it was worth it.

Late 70's Dunhill Montecristo, $125. Worth it. Mid 80'sDavidoff #1 $80, not worth it.

    Hitting a deer is bad

Doood. that had to happen on the autobahn. It almost looks like when a bird gets sucked into a jet intake.

    Feedback needed

The review went on to say that it really opened up to be a nice cigar. It's difficult to judge a cigar on someone else's interpertation or experience, but it does match your tastes to a T. If I were you, I would pick up a box. The price is almost to the point of being thrifty and doubt you...

    Kirby Vacs & carpet cleaners

I had a guy come over to the apartment a few years ago from Kirby, wanted to do the "product performance test" too. I misunderstood him, i thought he wanted to clean the whole living room. Well, he got started with his monologue, cleaned a 12x12 square and told us the vacuum is a great...

    Watermelon Martini?????

This is a man that knows his martini. A while back he suggested subbing the olive for a jalapeno. Fuggin Awesome drink. I have had quite a few of those and bust 'em out for friends often. I call it the Randy.

    Interesting Tatuaje News...

I feel your pain bro...but you have to remember that Tatuaje is a boutique cigar, not one of the giants with unlimited supply of material. I'm happy with being able to smoke some of his limited stuff ( Oscuro Noella, Maravilla & the El Cohete) and they were way worth smoking. If the company...

El Triunfador Or La Riqueza No. 2 (photo added 2nd page)

I've heard a lot of the 'bullshit' marketing remarks but I think that Tatuaje (and all the other lines under his belt) have generated a lot of heat and has made some of the giants a little pissed. I don't like having a limited run of things either, but at least he has tried to get an...
