• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Liga Privada LP L40” Review

Oh man. I cannot wait for these to be available. I promise a review if and when I get one/two/five/ten/a box. Love Liga Privada, love big panatelas. Any idea what the blend is like? What's the wrapper, etc.? Thanks for the review brother. :ccowboy:

    Tatuaje Black Label Torpedo

Also sent an email about these, and no response yet. Used to hear back from the guy I use there within like 3 hours max whenever I email him... now been a few days. *impatient emoticon*

    Opiniones, por favor.

I think in the long run the Noellas are the better choice. My motto lately has become, smoke less, but better. I'd rather, these days, spend 10 dollars on one great cigar, than on 5 crap cigars.

    Humidor Pics! Lets see em!

    Don Carlos Edicion de Anniversario

DON CARLOS EDICION DE ANNIVERSARIO 5.2x50 Robusto A very rare cigar, produced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Don Carlos line of Arturo Fuente cigars. Has to be special right? Certainly looks like it! Double banded, cedar and ribbon wrapped, this cigar has all the trimmings of a...

    Confessional

I too have been known to lie about how much I spend on cigars (and whisky). My confession is that I often prefer the Havana VI to the Brown labels, and that I like Padron Naturals more than Maduros most days as well.

Photo tour of My Father Cigars

Wait a sec, Marty, I think a friend of mine from elsewhere in the cigar world was on this trip with you. Nice guy named Matt, went with his wife? Looks and sounds like a fantastic time. Thanks for sharing the stories and pics.

Rinsing/dampening cigars before you smoke them

Logic would dictate that this is just a way to quickly bring a dried out cigar back to life, but unfortunately, I don't think it would help the flavor that has been lost in the process of drying out, since the cigar has lost OIL which contains flavor, and adding water isnt going to replace that.

    Cancun April Smokes

From what I have heard, the manager there is a fantastic guy, and is VERY helpful, and pleasant to deal with. Heard some good stories about him hanging out, smoking and having drinks with dudes vacationing, and really hooking them up with some good stuff, as well as a good time. I have a feeling...

    Perdomo patriarchs

Correct. This thread is not only silly, it is in the wrong section, by a long way. This section is for reviews of cigars of Cuban origin. Not conjectures about cigar wrapper coloring, some of which may be Habano seed wrappers grown places other than Cuba. I thought this subject had been...

An edible box of Anejos? Oh yes please. Pretty lady too. Ahem...

    Liva Privada T52 Toro

I usually would give the Toro a 92-93 too, on a good day, 90 at lowest probably. Absolutely love the toro size specifically. Never had a bad T-52, but the Toro and Pig just really nail it on the head. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

    Thoughts on the Face

I didn't love them when they came out, frankly. They were nice and mellow, but the flavor profile didn't do anything for me, and both examples I smoked had a strange ashy taste to them that I did not care for. I have a few more singles left in the box, but plan to save them until next time I...

    Punch on the Chisel...fo' shizzel

I've also heard him say that you can also pinch the chisel tip. Like squeeze the sides, and the cap pops opened. I've smoked a few chisels that way, and always get a perfect draw.
