• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Do you mind paying a cutting fee?

I don't often smoke in lounges, but when I have it has always been something I have just bought there. Just respect the shop.

    Where to find distilled water??

Rite Aid. I work in a Rite Aid Pharmacy, and we sell distilled water. Crystal Lake is the brand I believe. Store brand, works great.

    Coming Soon: La Sirena

Other than the fact that they are both huge, I have no idea how you are getting that. I have a Churchill, the "trident" size, in my humidor waiting for a warm spring day. It smells phenomenal.

Cheap and Tasty. My next Box?

The Diesel is the best thing on your list, but you can find Tat red labels around 100$/box online, and those would be a MUCH better investment. Basically any LFD, JdN, DPG, Tatuaje, or Padron that you can find a box of for around 100$, which isn't difficult, is what I would go with. Fuente...

    Least favorite vitola?

Anything thicker than 50 is bigger than I prefer. Length, I like 7 or under generally, but sometimes you want a 3 hour cigar.

    What an idiot!

I think they're real. The RyJ Churchill was released before 1960 even. I'm calling, and buying. Especially if they are covered in bloom, and a billionaire once owned them. That just adds the the value.

    Happy B Day The GreekOne!

Which Liga Privada do you like best?

Now that I have finally tried (almost) everything Liga Privada (still havent had a JD4 or a no.9 pig, and don't even know what a LP L40 is(?)) I can say with confidence that the T-52 Pig is the best of the bunch for me. For regular production sticks, the T-52 Toro is my favorite. Kind of think I...

    The Official Cigar Deals Thread

The sampler isn't anything special IMO, but I agree that Famous is a great retailer. Of the several huge online based retailers, I think Famous is probably the best, in terms of their selection and pricing. There are other, smaller retailers I prefer to deal with, but I have never had an issue...

So does this really help maintain humidity.

This would potentially help is the humidity is condensing into a liquid... Otherwise those grates usually are used as a sort of "crumb catcher" device. If big enough, and you're getting uneven rh% in different parts of the humidor, consider getting a Glade battery powered fan (the kind that...

    What are you listening to?

Can't say I think much of this particular track/album, but I have been a HUGE fan of all of Danzig's bands (was in a Samhain cover band briefly, and have been in multiple bands heavily influenced by both the Misfits and Samhain) The most recent DANZIG album, Deth Red Sabaoth is really good, and...

    Créme de la Connecticut

Didn't know the 8-5-8 came in a connie. Need to find that... now.

    Cruzado Avalitos

CRUZADO AVALITOS 4x46 'Petite Robusto' This small robusto (petite corona gorda?) is my first experience with this line from Illusione mastermind, Dion Giolito. The Cruzado line makes use of seco filler rather than ligero, for a full flavored, but lighter bodied experience than the Illusione...

    Créme de la Connecticut

Davidoff Grand-Cru for me, specifically the No. 3. I'll happily smoke anything Davidoff though. Also like the AVO classic line and Cabaiguan.

    Cigarillos and cheroots

Love Cuchillos Cubanos. Such great value. I really do think they are of the same quality as Dion's other smokes, just short filler, etc.

For Habanos, I have a box of JLP Cremas (a 5x5) that I fall back on regularly.

    Cigarillos and cheroots

Honestly, those last me 30 minutes MINIMUM. At times, I've had petite tats/cabaiguans last me like 45+ minutes.

    Cigarillos and cheroots

AVO makes some small cigars (puritos) that I quite like. The Domaine Puritos are something I always keep a tin of around for a short smoke with my moning coffee on weekends.
