  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    The SLR DC is about the only vitola out of this lineup I prefer the most. While the Regio and A are good in their own rights, you may want to get your hands on some DC's to try as well. Get some '01's if you can. Hard to find but well worth the effort :eyebrow:

    Inspecting them at purchase may not have done you any good. There was no evident mold on the Cameroon Shark when the sampler arrived. The mold issue appeared shortly thereafter. I'll be curious to see whether Fuente does a wholesale recall on their 2006 holiday Anejo's.

    IMO, I wouldn't keep the beads out of the humi when reconditioning. If you want the wood to absorb as much water as possible, I'd leave the beads out. No point in regulating the RH at 65% during this process. Simply my opinion on the matter.
