• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Low RH

Temps will definitely affect RH. The colder it is, the higher the RH will need to be.

    Low RH

Where to begin? This could be due to many different things. I'll try to help out best I can. 1) Make sure the humi isn't obviously near any direct sunlight, extremely cold areas or near any vents blowing forced air on it. 2) When the beads get dry take them out of the humi since they'll just...

    Fuente Anejo's with Mold!!!!

Could you imagine if you bought the "cigar in a bottle" for $300 and the cigar had mold on it? Fuente's got a lot of explaining to do.

    Fuente Anejo's with Mold!!!!

If the mold isn't in the foot then the cigar is salvageable as you already know. Yes, having 12 cigars with mold on it is annoying. But I'd just as soon wipe them down with a slightly damp paper towel and put 'em back in the humi. If you're humi is on the drier side (62%-66%) then you'll be fine.

ok, heres a dumb question... lol

There's a raging debate whether the quality of cigars in Cab's are superior to SLB's. No one can say for sure. If looked under a microscope for the same year, then they're the same blend and the cigars that go into slb's vs cabs that year could have been rolled by the same person, therefore...

    What Would You Do?

"No matter how hot this chick is, somewhere, someone is sick of her shit!" I'd smoke the stogie, unless it's a NC :glassesgr

I can understand the rationale behind JR's. The group may be too large for Azucar's.

Enron: The Smartest Guys In The Room

Seen it, read numerous books about the Enron debacle. I enjoyed the movie but non-Finance types may not enjoy the documentary. It does get into some technical accounting matters that they try to explain in laymen's terms. I did some work last year in a conference room in a building directly...

Agreed and what nice friends to upload the video to the web like that :shame: It's funny to watch but tragic at the same time.

ok, heres a dumb question... lol

I had to do a double take. You had me confused for a second there. Then I thought Bolivar Belicoso Fino. Everyone pretty much answered the question already. Generally they're the same just different quantities. Everyone just refers to the 50 counts as the cab and the 25 count as the SLB.

    Need advice on drying cigars

All is not lost. They are salvageable but it will take work. I wouldn't recomment dry boxing them or setting them out for a few days. The wrappers are wet and drying them rapidly will cause shock to the cigar and the wrappers will wrinkle although minor wrinkling may be unavoidable. Your best...

    Monte #2

I was about to say the same. If you really want alcohol, try adding a little Bailey's to the coffee. Or Bailey's on the rocks will do although I find that a little too sweet. Coffee and a well aged Monte #2, there's very little that's better than that

Can't believe it either Kevin. It's a good friends birthday celebration that day in Philly so will only be able to spend a few hours during the day Saturday with you guys before heading back down to Philly.
