• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    CC Jars, really?

Yeah they seal a little too well. If you just use water on the element they will easily over humidify. Lucky they got to them before they turned moldy. That is why I use a humidipak. I like ensuring that it stays at 65% and that they stay sealed for longer term storage

Just built a coolerdor. Suggestions on what to fill it with?(Budget Sticks)

Yup nothing worse then filling your humi with mediocre smokes just to take up space. Eventually you will get to the point of only smoking the stuff you really like and skipping the rest. At that point even giving them away becomes a bit of an issue as if I give someone a cigar it will be...

    Beer Glasses

Schooners are the best way to go. Pretty sure if the beer is good you are plenty happy to stop after a couple.

    CC Jars, really?

Love the jars. I have a few and they have all been great. I find them to be of higher quality then most CC releases. My house is temperature controlled so I have humidipaks in them and store them on top of a humi.

Need suggestions on high MPG hatchback

BMW is mid range quality here I believe. Think most of their issues are with electronics in the higher end ones. Last I remember reading was a new 7 series was about as reliable as a 7 year old Lexus.

Well on north American quality rating VW is still near the bottom. Might as well be looking at Lada's. May be better but still a long ways off of the quality they used to put out.

    End of an era

Few guys have been searching for BBM replacement for quite a while and nothing as good for group chat as BBM.

    End of an era

Yeah I know. Think RIM had better work harder on leveraging BBM or their days are numbered. Easily the best app I have ever seen on a phone. With the hardware of a really good phone and may still be competitive in the market.

Good catch will get him one too at the same time. http://www.sigloaccessory.com/eng/product_details.php?color=MTUw Best lighter I have ever owned by far. Dupont may be better but the tank on this thing is massive and will be hard to beat.

    End of an era

Well today is a very sad day indeed. As many of you may know I have always been a very outspoken supporter of the blackberry format for phones. I love a physical keyboard, Blackberry Messanger is probably the best app available on any format, they still push email like no other format, some of...

obviously don't live in the north. VW diesels in northern climates I think are one of the reasons they are still one of the lower rated brands in initial quality. 3 northern winters and most here are getting rid of them or finding a way to wire in a second battery. 6 years in most are blowing...

Cigar Aficionado Top 25 for 2011

After having been to Havana a few times I absolutely love the issue. One of the worst things about Havana is the lack of god info. I think they hit on most of the highlights. Food is usually a sore spot for most that visit and this hit upon most of my favorite places. Shops in Havana can also be...
