• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    CC, NC, or both?

I find it funny that people would say NC's of any kind are not suitable for aging. As far as I concerned I prefer most cigars aged regardless of origin. Tats and illusione seem to come alive with age. Many people will swear by aged opus as well. I cannot say I have I have real long term aged...

Rumour is that BlackBerry Messenger will be available for purchase on iPhone and Android by the end of the year. I know this sounds bad but I really only use my phone for email, BBM and Botl so as much as the games would be nice I am happy with my Blackberry. Posted via Mobile Device

Went to a cigar dinner tonight so started of with a Diplomatic Cohiba Lancero (not sure if these are the same as the ones that have been for sale lately but it was Fantastic. Next up was a Monte 2 Double Ligero, again fantasic. Now finishing up with a LGC Delicioso...

    Saints & Sinners

You would think that good cigars were hard to find. Did I mention lately that one of my favourites lately has been a box of older Cazadores. Reg Brown label is awesome. WHile I do pick quite a few LE's I am more then happy with reg production stuff as I know what I am getting without any...

anywhere to get opus X for msrp in Boston?

Perretti's allways has opus. NOt sure how many you can buy at a time but they are wortha a shot but you will have to pay Mass state taxes. Another option would be to check in with the guys at federal as they are an opus dealer and maybe make a trip to NH if they have some. Beautiful drive...

Reasons for odd shapes like "FLYING PIG", "FIRECRACKER" and "PEREFECTO" etc...

Some times it is about time frame as well. Many people do not like thin cigars so a short but fat cigar can help with time frame while giving the experience of a larger cigar. This is true for fire cracker, nubs and flying pigs. Perfecto"s give a varying mix of wrapper to filler so can help...

HdM Petit Robusto v. H Upmann Half Corona

Wow think you are looking at a pretty small group here. I have smoked both and am not sure on the answer. I smoke a lot of the Petite Robo's but am still smoking from 03 boxes. I have only smoked 1 half corona and it was at the H Upmann dinner at the festival. While it was good it was still...

What cigar do you keep around for friends?

I generally ask without opening the humi's for them to look into. If it is under $50 and I have more then one it is theirs. If they don't know I try to pick the cigar I think they would enjoy most regardless of price. I really want people to get the enjoyment out of a good smoke that I do so...

Torano tribute 04 Churchill and a El Centurion Beli. Both were surprisingly good. I sometimes I can be a bit of a cigar snob so have lately been trying to smoke things I wouldn't grab. Posted via Mobile Device
