• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

No more aging cigars for me

Quite true about the monte #2 but I stopped buying them 3 years ago as I was finding way too much inconsistency. For us aged on a Monte 2 would still be 05 or 06 boxes. I am not very patient so 3 or 4 years will do for me. Cubans actually prefer younger Cigars. they had discounted SLR series...

No more aging cigars for me

One thing on that is almost no stores in Canada carry enough inventory for there own aging. So every thing on the shelf is there only box of it usually. Whether is is young or old it has been through the exact same hands. Unlike Hong Kong or Switzerland the only one with any real stocks is...

No more aging cigars for me

Ok it's official I will no longer buy any cigars to age that are any less rare then regionals. EL's not remotely close to rare enough. Now I know unfortunately this isn't the same for everbody but here's the story. 3 years ago some friends brought me back a box of punch punch's from 05. I...

Ya I am stubborn though. It happens everytime I fly. My small one I just fight with and eventually get it open. My bigger one has a release valve to balnce the pressure.

    SLR Regios

Would love to help here but all I can say is I generally love SLR only problem being is I have never tried one newer than 2000. I agree that they are very underrated and that is why you can usually find boxes from the early 00 still. Hope you have better luck with the rest of the cc's you try

    Tat Black Friday

I don't think you quite understand how rare opus are here. We can get them but they are $35 for a #5 and $50 for a robusto. We have a high of 30 today so there is no where outside of the lounge to smoke. The other thing I like about this I have taken to smoking my HTF's just in case I get hit by...

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

But a big robusto right, 6 by 50 not the 5 by 50. I guess differnce isn't much but many of us would be very excited to find out full boxes of the new robusto T's are out. Robusto Extra's are a great smoke as well.

    What's yer favorite cocktail/mixed drink?

Nothing along the standards. It's not often I mix things so I think there are only 4 that I will touch. Rum water and lime Bourbon and 7 (I know it's a shame to do that to good bourbon) Rye and ginger Caesar's gotta get your veggies in somehow.

Can a torch lighter be too hot?

I totally agree on the no draw method being my prefered method. I still get some krusty old smokers looking at me funny as I do it, but is the best way for me to make sure that it is ready to go from the first puff.

Can a torch lighter be too hot?

similar sized flames doesn't always mean the same amount of heat. Dumb thing I have found out is that it takes me just as long to light a cigar with a triple flame, Single flame or soft flame lighter. I guess my answer would be try not using the same technique with the two lighters. Try to be...

    Where does your Humidor reside?

I have 2 on display in my basement. My coolidor is tucked into a corner in the basement as the the temp in the basement is rock solid at 68. My big storage is in the basement of my BM. My newest one that is still coming will end up on my desk at the office where I can show it off best.
