• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have 3 desktops between home and office then store most in a spare walk in at my favorite store.

    My Thanksgiving

If you are in a country that has legal Cubans there is a very good chance that your B&M will get aged boxes just at random. Those are the cigars to buy you don't have to wait you can smoke them right away. It is great to get to know the people at your B&M for that reason. Recently the one I...

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

Started off with a Casa Magna Torito good cigar but the ring gauge was too big for my liking. Then Don Pepin Cuban Classic. Then the great little cigar of the day Du Depute from 01 great but could still use more age.

    Why am I always dissapointed

I tried the AVO 80 with no luck. And really price means almost nothing... I live in Canada the land of enormous Cigar taxes. Generally we pay $20 for any thing decent in a robusto size and it goes up from there. An example is PAM 1926 #9 $20ish in the US here they are $55. If I can buy...

    Why am I always dissapointed

They were quite mild but that wasn't so much my issue. I think I made it through about 3/4 of an inch on the big winston churchill and trashed it to go get a better cigar. And that is the story for most Davidoff stuff. I have also found the same taste in bahia cigars and a small amount in...

    Why am I always dissapointed

With Davidoff cigars. I have tried many cigars from Davidoff and there is just something in there flavor profile that doesn't work for me. I have tried AVO's, the new Winston Churchills, Platinum sceptres, Griffins and they all have a mushroomy earthy tobacco in them. Does any one know what...

    LFD perfectos

I just smoked one of the unbanded ones and it was great. Now I just can't find any more info on the blend and don't want to be buying a pile of samplers. Do they make anything similar that I can buy in full boxes?

    Uncelnino the BOMB

Makes me feel good. I just finished packing a sampler for him that I hope he can't keep up to. I broke into boxes I hadn't even tried yet, pulled out the last of one my favs. (but I have another cabinet on order) hopefully it will be a good dent in his wish list and from what I am hearing he...

    it was worth it.

Aren't almost all cigars over $20, Maybe it's just Canada......

    fermentation

It does happen in all cigars but cc are way more prone to it becasue they ship them out younger. Most good NC's will age them more before shipping.
