  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    It's mostly because I don't stress out over it. sometimes one humi is at 64, sometimes, 65, sometimes 68. Kinda seems to balance itself out. And he's been smoking for decades according to him.

    Don't drink much but pretty sure you can get decent to very good bourbon for $20 -$35.

    It's like an accident, I cannot stop myself. It's either too cold (believe it or not) or you have not enough humidification media or your cigars are dry.

    Many people don't smoke cigars bought at stores for a while just because of that reason.

    Yes, I am serious. I have always just put cigars in. I however do not have a very strong sense of smell so that might be it. Yes, I keep my 3 good cigars in a wineador and the 4 or 5 cheap ones in a tupperware type container.

    I was looking at buying some cedar to line a cabinet humidor and it was not cheap, even with shipping to the US. That stinks that someone threw yours out.

    pretty sure if you put cigars in it, the leather smell will go away. I'll play along: Why put the cheap cigars in the wine cooler and the good cigars in the tupperware? BTW, you've started 12 threads on humidification in less than a month. I don't know if I've had that many questions on that...
