BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Not without a wine cooler or something along those lines. Really, I don't see that as being a huge deal. 73 isn't ideal, but many of us deal with temps that high. -

Dave, be sure to check the seal on that humi. My first humi was a pass me down like this and it turned out to have a horrible seal. Best of luck. -

Depends on the situation in the cooler and condition of cigars when you put them in, but in general, yes. How dry? What kind of RH were we dealing with before? Hard to say. -

Danilo is correct, the salt method is not the most accurate. Too easy to screw up the ratios. Grab a Boveda One-Step Calibration Kit. OK, so you aren't over packed, that's not the problem. The hygro really should be reading what is probably the highest humidity being that it's at the top... -

I don't know if Famous is known for shipping "wet", maybe someone else can answer that. Is the 300 count packed full, and were the Olivas right above the beads? If you have the humi jam-packed that can affect circulation of air throughout. It is possible to get humid spots in a humidor right... -

Wax Paper In or Out?
I tend to leave things alone. I'll remove things as I go down, layer by layer. I'll sometimes remove that strip of wax paper once I'm regularly getting in to a box, but I don't remove it for storage. Same, same with cabs. I always leave the wax paper in cabs the entire time, I figure it... -

Something's off, for sure. As to the whole "spore" thing, there really is no point in worry about that. Cigars carry mold spores, they just do. You can't see them and they are pretty much impossible to get rid of. The only way to avoid mold is to keep your temp/humidity in the correct range...
