Took just over 2 hours to get there, get set up, shoot all the pictures (thank God for programmable remotes!), break down and get back home. Then about an hour or so to edit and render them into a video.

Yeah, I saw that too afterwards....didn't know it was going to be that jumpy. Because of the light reflecting off the water, my camera sometimes couldn't figure out where to focus so I would move the camera a bit between shots. I should have just zoomed out instead. Note for next time though! :)

Yup, that's how I did it. 1172 stills taken once every 8 seconds.

Not out of bounds at all....in fact, I didn't even think of that! That's a pretty good point that I overlooked....thanks and I'll keep that in mind for the next one!

Oh, the photo version I'm not sure of. Some cameras have the ability to stitch the pictures together without having to use outside software, some don't.

I could be wrong....not sure. Those time lapse photos that are stitched together to make one photo are pretty cool.
