I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
Bryan Glenn and I are like the Hatfields and McCoys....he drains the bucket of arrogance in record time but sometimes he actually is right...like a broken watch that can tell time twice in a day. Not sure how a cigar can be rushed into a correct RH in two weeks unless it enters a time tunnel.
Premium sticks demand better QC.....the roller sees those inferior parts of the tobacco and stems do appear but those are pretty big....I'm thinking that it was Friday and the roller was thinking Cerveza and couldn't wait to get home and have an ice cold one.
Your info as to storage time is the tip off....2-3 weeks isn't going to get your cigar to acclimate in that short amount of time. General rule of thumb is 1% for every week if you're going to acclimate them to 65% and since cigars from Vendors are notoriously sent at 70 - 72% R that means you'd...
Can't go wrong with the color grey....esp. for resale value. If I were to keep my home I'd do something dazzling but with a 3 car garage I just use a powerwash to clean it up and spend the money I save on cigars....amazing how everything comes down to cigars.
Yep....that's a beauty! Safe color as well so people can see you coming. One thing I don't like about my bike...it's black and bright colors tend to be seen so much better. Is it loud enough to be heard? I used to not like loud pipes but now that I had custom Cobra system put on it's loud...
Dang....have not tried it so I'll be on the lookout. I have Prime so at least I know I'd have it in 2 days. Have been drinking tons of Don Pablo coffee for the last 2 years...very smooth and no acid taste at all. Costco sells the 2 lb Sig Blend for $10 that I use for French Press...when I'm...
Nubbing a cigar is a bit different...slow your cadence down...take shorter draws...purge towards the end but if the cigar still tastes great but is still smoking "hot"....grab a Dr. Grabow or Cob Pipe and put the rest of the tobacco in there and smoke it up. Waste not want not!
I read the thread intro w/o my glasses on and thought...WTH is this kind of question and when I put on my glasses....I was glad to see that venganza was not misspelled...was ready to throw some vinegar and water all over it.
If you're used to smoking full bodied cigars then that kind of thing becomes rare unless you smoke more than one. I usually try to drink something that will help coat my tongue...Amarula, Baileys, etc. as it absorbs the harshness that can come with very stout tobaccos. Usually when smoking...
Choices make the world go round. I know some people who would smoke a Puros Indios over an Opus...wish I could do that as I wouldn't have to pay the going rate of $16 for the Opus.
Welcome from Atlanta/San Diego.....love Italy and can't wait to go back for the 5th time next year and take in the northern part and up to the S. of France...Avignon, Gordes, Arles.
Yep....we all get it once in awhile...usually happens when we areon anti biotics or eating at the same place Michael Douglas eats....at the Y! Sorry Catherine...didn't mean to you ya!
Phukin A that was quick. Just as well ....my wallet has been c*#k blocked since last month when I apparently had been drinking too much and ordered $1000 worth of cigar.
I shouldn't even mention my favorite for fear that others who used to smoke these up years ago...Blanco Nine Lanceros ....will start hoarding them like they are now. Only a couple of places don't have them on BackOrder...and for a box of 30 for $211 I'll buy em up....at least 2 boxes because...
^^^^.....I don't really think true cigar enthusiasts want to denigrate cigar businesses because in the long run it hurts everybody. Customer Service starts from the top down....Lew acted like a prima dona which is then adopted as a way of doing business to the troops. I wish this business was...
This is why we do business with "businesses" that don't conspire to use close-outs to push inventory. When they sell a close-out and then give you an order number that is basically a contract...you send the money....you paid for the product and you should be sent the item you actually bought...
Seen this kind of stuff too many times. Ordering online can have subsequent risk....emails back and forth...etc. I do order online but I follow up with a phone call to ENSURE that my order is processed. I also ask about backorder....is this product in stock....are there any unseen hurdles...
