i'd say most likely it's the blend. it could also be the water temperature, but i'd think that'd make it taste more acidic vs. burnt.
My water goes in at about 180 degrees for 4 to 5 minutes.
thought on placing singles in front of the fan?
mine sucks inwards, thus pushing air out of all vents except the center one. just worried about that fan drying out the cigars directly in front of it.
some of the new OWR maduros (from CI) that I have are wayyyyyyyy darker then some of the ones I have from when they were first released (purchased from a B&M). The newer ones also stain my lips, etc., where as the original ones don't.
I have a few questions for the Wine Cooler Gurus in this thread:
1) Can I disconnect the cold side fan without issue? It blows "inward" onto the radiator fins, not outwards, so I guess it just tries to dry condensation?
2) Does anyone else have a sticky brown substance that is all over...
Humidour is my favorite.
Mt. Washington Cigar has a great smoking area and a decent humidor. Kinda pricey though. Its down 83 off Cold Spring Lane (on Falls Rd.)
Fader's in Towson (right near the circle) is a good spot too. Last time I was there the smoking area was a little crowded but...
