I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
The Ventura PSyKo SEVEN came as a 2 pack by way of a giveaway Ventura hosted in November 2013. The only other Ventura cigar I had ever tried was the custom release they did for Reddit /r/cigars.
Nose:
Careful examination reveals spices and cedar. The nose is light for strength...
If it were blind NCs I feel like I would do much better. At the very least it should be a fun experiment and interesting to look back on what I picked and why.
I was on number six. Kenneth had me talking in the video.
I've posted two articles on the Safari, working on number three.

This cigar was part of a 5 cigar sampler pack that I ordered from an online Cuban cigar supplier. They run a contest each year where you buy a sampler of cigars, smoke them blind, and then have to make a guess as to what they are. If you get all 5 correct you get a significant gift...
This is what I use for travel:

The soft flame is allowed by TSA as carry on. The 'cartridge' disassembles into two parts and I put in a backpack, carry on bag, or checked luggage.
No worries, I thought your feedback was really interesting. I think there's some value in approaching NCs and CCs in a different way in a review. I've personally separated out my 'best of 2014' lists into the two categories because I feel like they're very different products.
Actually there's more than a few Cubans that can be peppery or spicy. RASS's immediately come to mind. I would agree with you Montecristo and RyJ doesn't have any spice to it but there is definitely a list that does.
Catfishbluezz asked me to post this on his behalf:
The cigar world is chocked full of personality, and recently I had the pleasure of interviewing and chatting with Bernie Leong of The Havana Club in Honolulu, HI. Let me start by saying, I could tell right away Bernie was a great guy, and his...
This cigar came to me by way of an anonymous bomb off Reddit. I couldnt let such aggression go unchecked so /u/UnofficialGhost will be receiving some ordnance in return.
Nose:
A mixture of spices with very light cedar. The nose really undersells the smoking experience that follows...
Other than the Nacional in Cuba ... Tesa Cigars in Chicago, Casa de Montecristo in Chicago (their aging room is ridiculously awesome).
Serious Cigars in Houston was fantastic, put on a great show last year for the Super Bowl.
Corona Cigar in Orlando was a lot of fun. Special mention to CY...
The only other cheaper vendor I could find had them for $545 for a 25 pack. That stills makes them $22'ish each which is quite expensive. The biggest issue is availability.
Prices are a guideline based on the most common suppliers. In this case a large International supplier of Cuban cigars. Canadian prices would be $85+ or more for a single.
Edit:
I just checked pricing with a friend, they're going for 575CUC in Cuba (if you can even find them). If you're...
This Cohiba Esplendidos from 2010 came by way of a good friend who set me up with a Cuban taster pack of sorts. He asked to remain anonymous.
Nose:
That Cuban sweetness couple with undertones of cedar. Careful examination and I pick up some hay but very faintly. The nose is quite...
Many of the quotes make more sense when they're underlayed under the original image. Porting over the articles to BBcode boards is challenging at the best of times so the original post would make a lot more sense.
Thanks for the kind words guys. I always wonder after I've done a review whether my experience is way off in crazytown or whether others feel similarly.
