I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
You've got some great sticks and some real dog rockets. Interesting mix. I personally like the Alex Bradley's and the Jamie Garcias and all the CC's you've got but I would skip the Black Pearl and a few of the other cheapys. I've never had a Davidoff. I must try one sometime.
Wow! It seems some people are really upping their game when it comes to their photo layouts. These last few are making it harder for me to pick the next Photo of the Month
So you can see that the top 5 choices didn't get a whole lot of people voting for them. There were tons of choices that were one-offs. There are just too many good cigars out there and too many differing opinions, but that's what makes it interesting.
The biggest surprise for me was something...
So here are the results of this past year of smoking great cigars. The BOTL brothers have spoken and I have tallied the results. It was a daunting task.
I scored all choices with 5 points for a first choice down to 1 point for the 5th choice. If the person submitting did not rank the cigar...
So here's an example of the short forms I'm trying to figure out.
1. 4. BLTC S & R (Corona gorda)
I'm sure many of you know what this is but I have no idea!
I started to compile the results yesterday. It's not what I thought. I decided to just look at the top 5 rather than the top 10 since most people didn't list 10. With just the top 5 there are OVER 230 ENTRIES! And the worst part is that they are almost all different. There are very few...
So you guys are not paying attention to the blend. Why is that? Is it because you like everything regardless of the blend or is it that there is not much difference between the blends as long as you like the leaf types you have on hand.
Yeah, winador is the way to go. Mine has been trouble free since I got it 4 years ago. I bought a used wine fridge and built a box around it to make it presentable.
I just returned from Cuba and you are sooo right. Everything I smoked there tasted better than when I smoke them at home.
But I doubt that the resort actually brought a guy from Cuba once a week. I think that may have been something they told their guests.
I do roll cigars and I agree that...
Back when this thread started it seemed that there were only a few rollers on the forum. Now it's hard to keep up with all the "Picks of Your Stick". I love it.
