I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
Since you had an orange (citrus), a cuban La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No. 4 would fit the bill nicely. Otherwise my personal favorite at the moment with coffee is a '01 QdO Corona
I've used a cutter like this. Unfortunately with the move to larger ring gauge cigars, you've limited the cutter to only sub-48 ring gauge cigars. Anyhow, the cutter you seek is made by Donatus in Solingen, Germany (although there might be other manufacturers). The model in Swordfish is more...
Some say the '03 Sig VI is currently better than the CGR. Some say the festival release CGRs are better than the current batch of CGRs. Others say the current batch of CGRs need time due to the fact the tobacco was aged 5yrs in bales and not as a rolled cigar. Best thing to do is form your own...
If anything, it's underfilliing. I don't generally smoke newer production either but it's underfilling that I'm finding to be the real culprit with the larger ring gauges. As with anything, if you've bought a box from a reputable vendor, see if they will replace your plugged sticks or the entire...
Can't say that I've noted an alarming rate of plugged cigars. Could be just bad luck. If these are thin ring gauges, there may be an increased chance of plugs. It's also tough to tell with the new box codes which boxes were rolled in the regional factories, etc. That's why box codes were always...
Spain has favorable trading status with Cuba and the Spanish government sets the price of tobacco ergo the lower price. If it's at one of the bigger estancos then you're fine. Grab one at that price because you will never see it lower anywhere else. Let us know how it smokes and enjoy!
Long, long ago I used to smoke these....when they first came out, they were some of the better smokes around and a decent value. Back then any competition to the Fuentes was welcomed in my eyes. I see the price has gone up but it still sounds like a great cigar. Great review btw!
According to Habanos S.A., RAAS Intratech is the sole distributor or India. Cingari is the chain of stores licensed to sell Habanos that is owned by RAAS Intratech and therefore they will claim to be the only stores/lounges in India that sell authentic cubans and the sole retailer of the...
Cingari claims to have the sole importation rights in India from the distributor.
I got a box of Platinos after shipping for less than $500. Cingari claims they released the Platinos at $950. They can keep 'em at that price!
Are the 858 Rosados that are supposedly being re-released Oliva grown rosado wrappers or Fuente Estate grown rosado wrappers? Two very different wrappers...
I was at the table where the cell phone went flying...thankfully not in my direction.
I don't believe the herf was sponsored by this board if I'm thinking of the same herf.
Well I sparked up my first Frank. Compared to the Drac I had the other week, the Frank is a much better stick even after a year of age. While I enjoyed my experience with the Frank, it still left much to be desired. I found the Frank to be relatively one dimensional. Touch of sweetness with some...
Just got the letter a few days ago. I got boosted to 20.99%.
I usually don't carry a balance but I don;t really use this card much anyway.
It's despicable these banks are fleecing the consumer so blatantly.
Interesting review shuckins....i smoked my first drac last night.
I waited this long so the cigar could acclimate, etc. Nice color to the wrapper. Dark and foreboding. The weight wasd a little on the lighter side but at least I knew I wouldn't have a tight draw. Draw was perfect afterall. The...
