I have found that Corojo wrappers tend to benefit very well from age compared to other NC wrappers. I have some of the La Aurora Preferidos tubos from 2004, and the Corojo ones taste far better than any of the others by a long shot. TYLER

It was the gold maduro, I believe. That first one I had, the churchill-sized one, was fantastic. The smaller ones I didn't like so much. Just not my flavor profile. TYLER

I'm not sure what's up with these, either. I smoked a churchill at the trade show and it was phenomenal, and then I smoked some of these smaller ones afterward and they have that dirty, mildewy taste. Just like the new Davidoff Winston Churchills. TYLER
