I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
x 2.....
The Mac 12, for ANYONE thinking about getting into Scotch, is a great starting point IMO.
A couple of my first bottles included the Laphroaig Quarter Cask, and the Mac Cask Strength. Those are NOT places to start out a Newb. I lived it. The QC due to Peat, and the Cask Strength...
This is a cigar that I'm quite curious about as well. Easily the most intriguing in the HdM line for me currently. Heard some positive things....but can't speak personally on it, as I too have yet to try one.
I can both understand and appreciate this. Those TruGreen folks are RE LENT LESS!
But, hey....
At least he didn't try to sell you HTF cigars at over MSRP :squinteye.
Thank you Adam....et al. See, some true info was revealed about Glassine paper here, so to you weizenheimers....:grinFU:
Though I will confess, once I posted this, I wished I'd went with "Wax on / Wax off" as the thread title :hanghead:
Did a quick search and came up empty on this one. Perhaps the CC equivalent to the cello on/off threads that are always a classic, but am curious if you remove the wax paper layer when storing boxes long term?
I know wax paper is apparently odorless, so this is probably just a question of...
A quick search revealed this:

And I'll also add the following, which came from another site, and another poster....that I thought to be useful information:
There are few better places to enjoy a...
Not gonna lie, I'm pretty happy with these here specimens Ryan.....LOL.
And i'm far from the expert, but I think the 898s and the VR Unicos look like the winners of the bunch....but if they all smoke as good as they look, I'll be a happy fella. :cbig:
Can't argue with this at all...smoked both the Trini T and CoRo recently and they're both stellar smokes. The T certainly being more refined, while the CoRo has a subtle strength that is very enjoyable.
I'm early into my cc branching out as well, and while I can't comment on the 898 quite...
Figured I'd take a pic, as I was quite pleased w/ this pairing. Cigar > the Beer, but that's not a knock on the beer so much....
Thanks to the Cigar Cowboy for this lighter btw. Use it all the time Michael.....just like you said I would :applause:
This stuff is no joke.....as a newbie Scotch drinker, and you love this one?? Impressive. I struggled a bit through my bottle, but with a little help from a couple buddies, I made it...LOL.
I'd suggest givin' the Lagavulin 16 a try if you haven't already. Heard that one is the top shelf of...
yes, yes you have!! :rolling:
The PSD4 was one of the several smokes that brought me back round to cc's as well.....and I must say.....well.....let's just say......tread lightly brethren! :crosseyed
Homemade Beef Stroganoff....
Tenderize...Grill til medium rare, slice thin (or thick if you prefer), and then add to some sautee'd mushrooms, onions & garlic to get the meat to medium.....add a couple cans cream o'mushroom soup, cup of sour cream, and your cooked egg noodles.
Of course...
Thanks for the update Craig....
Still wishing Brayden and his family all the best. Reading that, being a parent...not gonna lie, it's a tear-jerker bro.
Godspeed on your recovery and beating that cancer Brayden!
This cigar...along w/ the West (which I personally prefer), make up my top 5 Tats ever I'd have to say...along w/ the Reserva line (SW Maddie, Regios, and Noella).
All, for me anyway, have a perfect balance of flavor and strength.
Some of the more recent stuff (Tenderloin, BRex etc.) was...
Can't very readily discuss 2009, without mention of 2008 can you? When the concept is "futures"....I think the past is absolutely relevant.
And is there really ANY bad publicity??
Maybe we should ask Charlie Sheen :transform
