• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Pics of Your Sticks

Been trying to put these together for over a week... I recently had some commercial smokes with CTBL wrappers so I dug out my remaining CTBL filler and applied it as wrapper here and there. Came out better than expected.

    Misinformation from TSA and AARP

I used to work for an X-ray detection system company so had to get through TSA all the time. Whether to fly to a customer or just work on the machine in the airport without flying, I had to pass through the security process. I was pulled aside many times for my tool kit, as i should be. But...

    Funny things kids say....

Back when my kids were babies or toddlers, my Silverado would calm them, lull them, and put them to sleep. One day my son was having a fit and refused to sleep so we all loaded up and went for a ride. My daughter is 2 years older than my son and decided to sing to him to try to calm him. From...

    The small Nuclear world

Great question. Everyone wants reliable cheap power, then mandate solar and wind power giving them huge credits. It would make sense to me that the credit would be based on capacity factor and emissions. Less emissions with higher megawatts on the grid, better credit. But what do I know....

    The small Nuclear world

I'm glad you've got it worked out. The industry as a whole seems to be challenged by cheap natural gas prices. I hope ANO has many years of service ahead!

I haven't had much success in predicting how the wrapper will impact the final outcome. Sometimes, I wind up looking for an acceptable filler leaf to use as a wrapper... Who knows, maybe a PA broadleaf could add to the chocolate flavors...I have some WLT American CT I haven't used much yet...

    Lost a fine friend today

Nice tribute. In such a small community as the nuclear industry, I'm sure the loss of your friend will be felt by many.

While prepping last night, I rolled up a couple quick hitters. 2 leaves Mata Fina with .5 leaf piloto cubano ligero, bound in wlt Dominican binder. No wrapper. This mornings walking the dog found that simple blend to be a straight up coffee bomb. Once in a while there was some bakers chocolate...
