  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Undercrown Shade is a lighter one that I've been liking lately. A lot of great suggestions so far so seems like you'll be doing a lot of experimenting. If I'm smoking something lighter, I usually drink it with a water or coffee.

    One of my first that I would consistently buy as a single was a Jericho Hill. I don't know why I picked it up, didn't know anything about it but just gravitated toward it.

    How many of your friends smoke cigars?

    I smoke on a monthly basis with about 6-8 friends then add some more acquaintances. On a night out though, most of my friends will partake at the least and do enjoy them and everyone I golf with usually has one. My BIL will have one whenever he is over.

    Never realized the cost of the Box?

    I don't have huge storage humidors so I usually remove my cigars out of the box. I do like the feeling of cracking open a box when I buy them though. If I were able to save anywhere from $10-$15 on an unbanded box vs. buying a a box with banded cigars, I'd go the bundle route though.

    Great, there's plenty of advice on the forums on how to season them. Make sure you be patient and take the proper time to season it to save headaches later on.

    I was always under the impression if your temperature and RH are under 70s, beetles shouldn't be an issue but I haven't been doing this as long as others here. I've frozen once just because the conditions at a B&M I bought from were questionable and I my humidor was fulled up so figure try it...
