  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Anybody seen these in a shop? Fuente just shipped us a box with our most recent Opus shipment. Never seen one for sale outside of an Opus 22 set or Lost City set. Just wondering if they are commonly available or if Fuente is starting to release rarer Opus sizes regularly.

    Blazer makes the most reliable torches on the market. I think it's the PB-207 or something that just kicks total ass. Xikar has a lifetime warranty, tho -- ANY Xikar retailer will give you a new one (in exchange for the old one) on the spot.

    That's weird, because I am like 95% sure that Perdomo's seconds are not the same blend, and that the 'seconds' idea is all just marketing. Heard it from a coworker who talked to Nick Perdomo at one of the RTDAs.

    Nice ornaments! Fuente also has a couple ornaments out this holiday season. Most B&Ms should have them. Personally, I love the ones Wade did for me a year or two back.

    Rocks glass, usually neat. Sometimes I'll throw in an ice cube. Not much of a fan of ice in drinks, but Stagg is pretty strong without it!

    If you are going to carry, the Glock is a good choice. Make sure you try out the Beretta PX4 Storm subcompact. The difference in recoil between the Glock and PX4 is astounding (Beretta is way lower, and follow-up shots are incredibly easy/accurate). I can put all 14 rounds through a 3" hole...

    I'm a huge fan of the Beretta Px4 Storm line. If you're going to CC, get the Px4 Subcompact! A phenomenal gun. Go to a range where you can test out different pistols, too. I shoot subcompacts much better than I do full-size pistols. Not sure why, but I point them much better. I wouldn't...
