BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

quick pick up
I am a huge fan of the regular Buffalo Trace (and of course the Antique Collection). Haven't had Blanton yet. Also, the regular WL Weller (cheap stuff with the green cap) is pretty damn good, at least on a college student's budget! -

Check out Empire Cigars in Raleigh or Tinder Box in Charlotte! They are on the list and should be getting at least a couple boxes each! -

Just finished one. It was OK. The boxes were sitting in the postal truck in 10* weather all day, so I think maybe they need to sit in the humi for a few days before I can make a final decision. The one I just had was waaaaay light on flavor. Not what I expected, so I'll torch another after I... -

Some suggestions
The cool thing about everywhere but the United States is that cigars commonly come in cardboard 3- or 5-packs! You can do singles, too, but the packs usually save you a little bit of dough. -

anyone tried the RP 1961 or patel bros.?
Smoked a Patel Bros. yesterday. It was good, they start off really spicy but mellow out. I think they are meant to compete with all the spicier Nicaraguan stuff coming out. I have heard that the 1961s are better, but we haven't gotten them in yet. -

I know of at least 3 shops locally, and another one within an hour of me that carry it. Although I have gigantic liquor stores close by, which helps. -
