• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    A. Fuente Don Carlos Lancero

True, but the guys on this board tend to take their cigars more seriously than the average guy, who probably loves the 6x60s.

    A. Fuente Don Carlos Lancero

They may be amazing smokes, but the fact of the matter is that I don't think Lanceros sell in the volume necessary to make them a regular production.

    A. Fuente Don Carlos Lancero 7 1/2x41 "Phantom" There isn't a whole lot of information out there about the Don Carlos Lancero (or "Phantom" as the Fuentes call their lanceros). The fact of the matter is, the Don Carlos Lance is one of those cigars that the Fuentes seem to produce...

    Rocky Patel Fifty

ROCKY PATEL FIFTY 6 1/2 x 52 Toro Anyone who knows me knows that I talk a lot of trash. I probably also talk a lot of trash about Rocky Patel. What I cannot, no matter what, deny is his success. The guy is a beast in the industry. He makes a million cigars, sells a million cigars...

    Quesada Oktoberfest

I've smoked a couple of these (in the Bavarian size... you would have to pay me to smoke a 65 ring cigar or whatever the Uber is), and have found that paired with various beers, it really opens up, and becomes great... but by itself, it is kind of a one trick pony, and isn't very exciting.

    Suggestions on newer cigars

Frankly, I think all of the cigars EP Carrillo has released have been somewhere between good and awesome, so you really can't go wrong with any of those. The La Casita Criolla isn't my favorite personally, but it definitely has a unique profile to it, and is definitely worth trying on those...
