  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I like to build myself. Love it really. The cost thing though... If I were smart about it, I'd get a Dell refurb with a super warranty and then upgrade it. Helps that I have friends who sell Dell refurbs for extra income.

    Nah it's easy, just not entirely legal. Seriously though, Tom, unless your friend is no longer going to use that copy of XP you should get a copy for yourself to be safe.

    Definitely did my math wrong earlier. Anyway, $520 is a good price and I wouldn't recommend Vista for a while yet. If you do want to go Vista, then grab another GB of RAM... And use the extra $180 for some smokes.
