  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    A wise man once told me not to smoke a special cigar on a special occasion because the occasion is what will make the day memorable. He told me to smoke a special cigar on a normal (or even bad) day to make that day special and memorable. I don't know what I smoked the day I heard those wise...

    Honestly, with the preference of Tatuaje and Illusione I'm thinking you'd be a fan of the PSD4 or something from Bolivar...that's not to say you won't like the others but it was just my first thought. They're all going to be pretty different. What Tatuajes and Illusiones do you like specifically?

    Anything that I absolutely LOVE but don't have access to more(Tatuaje TAA 2011 for example) or the last stick of a bomb because I just can't, I guess I'm a little sentimental.

    Mostly they cook the wrappers, some very popular with great reputation manufacturers do this to get the color and color-consistency they want. Cooking doesn't darken the wrapper as much as dying does, if I recall correctly.

    I don't know about next but in a few years I think Rodrigo will be getting there. They really have some fantastic cigars and I'm amazed they aren't more popular than they are already because I've never heard anyone say anything bad about them, all reviews are positive.

    I'm 98% sure that style of band was originally on the short story maduros in 2011...So I'd imagine those are from 2011 at the latest.

    I've seen the squares cut off on authentic because you know, Cuban QC(though extremely rare)...but not on an EL and that font is off and, oh god, that wrapper/cap.
