BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Man do cigars taste better when it's warm out.

I don't really buy into the weather changing my sticks either (other than burn qualities due to humidity or lack thereof), but I DO believe that the weather changes MY taste/preference in cigars. For example, I find that I absolutely love LFD on the hottest of days - I tend towards Dominican...

National Nestor Miranda Day - May 6th

Nice - but when I search PA, there are 'No results'... I've really been loving Nestor Miranda's cigars lately - the Danno 2010 is phenominal, but the Dominicano Oscuro's & Art Deco's have been in my weekly rotation for months!

Nassau Cruise

First off, congratulations! My wife & I were in Nassau a few years back & we wished we had visited the zoo & Graycliff - stear clear of the straw market - it gets old real quick: lots of people are profesionals at preying on the tourists. I would also recommend only purchasing cigars at Havana...

Pdr old blend vs new blend

The old Oscuro's are a good deal at the closeout price. The new Oscuro's are very good (haven't tried all the new blends yet, but all reports are pretty favorable). The BOTL stick & the 1878 (black) Capa Maduro were excellent & the 1878 (red) Capa Oscura is probably my favorite yet of everything.

Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona opinions (recent year)?

HDM DC's are very good, though medium (at best) strength. I believe it has a much more similar in flavor profile to a Bolivar than Partagas, though as stated, maybe 1/2 the strength.
