BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Cool! CG4 is one of my long time favorites, but I'm looking forward to trying them all to see how the flavors vary in the different sizes. I remember being very surprised when I learned that the El Triunfador (OR) was in fact a Cabaiguan maduro lancero.

I've had some darker-wrapper Monte #2's lately that were probably some of the best I've ever had (as experienced over last decade).

Round cigars?

I had one not to long ago & thought it was fantastic! I definitely prefer the round to pressed in this stick - but as long as the burn & draw are okay, it really doesn't make much difference in general.

To ligero, or not to ligero? That is the question

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but Ligero has the (most) strength, Seco- the flavor, and Viso - burn characteristics..? That said, I go through cycles of liking really strong sticks to prefering more 'medium' cigars. Variety is the spice of life, right?!

omg, another new tat!!!!

That Fausto is pretty damn good - very rich & a nice kick, but not overpowering & somehow clean-tasting... I personally love the new band - kind of a throw-back to old wine/absinthe adverts. But DAMN, a broadleaf-wrapped grand cojonu! That's bad-ass!!! I don't know if I'll ever get a chance...

Call me a fool

I haven't tried enough of them to know - I've had a Don Kiki & it was barely alright - didn't care to repeat the experience & had a few Cuban Crafters that made me want to gag, so I haven't bothered to 'explore' the rest of their products. To each his own!

La Verite 2008

I've smoked at least 20 of these & only one had a 'cracking' issue - but it was still smokable. I love the flavor of these!

So what'cha readin'???

Read Stieg Larsson's trilogy (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc.), loved it! Just finished Fall of Giants by Ken Follet - also excellent. Now I'm reading something a bit darker - Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy.
