  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I carry most of the time without chambering a round, if you practice it only slows your fist shot down by a fraction of a second and is great for weapons retention.

    why 65%?

    Two reasons here, first is I use beads and it seems like 65% beads average 65-68 where 70% beads average 70-73 and I like the lower range. Second is it just seems like all cigars smoke well at 65 while only most smoke well at 70 for me.

    I like many brands but I carry my Glock 19 more than any other. Consider a .22 conversion, you can shoot even a .45 on the cheap with one of them and you are not limiting yourself. As for what to get, shoot as many different pistols as you can and find the one you shoot well and is reliable.

    I've had that happen twice to me, and both times the person who got it put it back to the post office and it delivered within a week. I hope luck runs the same for you on these.

    Ft. Lauderdale Vino 28 with beads in AC house set in 78-80 range. Has no problem maintaining 62 degrees (Long term storage, I know this is very low temp)

    If it's even close to good humidity to start with, stick it in an air tight container, it will last weeks just fine.
