BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Resuscitating dry cigars
Just avoid overhumidfying them quickly, you can split wrappers. I put dry cigars in a sealed box for the first month or two to let them very slowly start comiing back, after that they are fine. If yours are just a little dry and not overly dry you may not need to do even that. -

Curious...
I haven't noticed any great changes from year to year myself. I think the flavor pops if you wait an extra year or two before you smoke them, but other than age, I haven't noticed any major changes from year to year on these. Other here have more refined taste buds than I, so I'm waiting on the... -

I think a temp controled humidor is also great insurance. Eggs don't hatch below a certain temp, so even if you get a bettle there will be no next generation of bettles hatching to cause problems. The horror storeies I've seen had to have been well into the second or third generation to do what... -

Need flee advice
The home cure has always been 20 Mule Team Borax laundry detergent from the grocery store, sprinkle it around, in the carpet, mattress etc. and they all just die. If you want you can vaccum it up later, but most just let it settle in for protection.- Mitch

Spotting scope recommendations?
