BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Oh, and as for burning hot... Pipes are going to smoke hotter than cigars, no matter what. That's just how they work... but smoking slower makes a difference, and the way to smoke slower with a pipe is the make sure that the tobacco is packed properly. I smoke a fair amount of Black Cavendish, and I think that moisture definitely can be excessive with it. I have even sometimes run a cleaner down the stem (but not up into the bowl) mid smoke if I get a gurgle. I'm not sure if it has to do with whatever Black Cav is cured in/with, or what, but... -

how might I store boxes unopened
As has been said... a cooler-dor is your best option here. Certainly the most cost effective, large storage piece to keep full boxes in. Just get a pound or two of beads from Heartfelt, and a 100 qt. cooler, and you're good for quite a few boxes. I think I have around 15 or 20 boxes in my 100qt... -

Wow. These went up at 8:00 am on NHC, and were sold out by 8:03 am. Singles sold out at 8:04 am. Got really lucky though, and seem to have succeeded in snagging a box from Dan again this year. -

Favorite cheapies/machine mades?
PLPCs are under 5 bucks a stick by the cab... so those and Partagas Shorts are probably my favorites. I've had some Partagas Mille Fleurs and JLP Cremas that were pretty good, simple sticks too. -
