• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Drunkest guy EVER

Yeah that video is a classic, though it looks more like he's in a K-Hole than just drunk. Definitely hilarious though!

What will happen to the NC manufacturers when the embargo is lifted ?

The internet cigar community and the non-internet cigar community are very, very different places. As for the effect it would have on Habanos, I'm not so much worried how it would effect the blends and vitolas produced (they're already royally screwing that pooch... RyJ WIDE Churchill...

    What does it all mean?

Well... that depends. Brands generally have different lines. For instance, the brand you mentioned, Punch, has several different lines, Uppercut, Rare Corojo, etc. An Uppercut and a Rare Corojo and a regular Punch are all different blends. Some companies adjust the blends within a line so that...

    What does it all mean?

As for sizing... a traditional Churchill is 7x47, so 7 inches long, with a 47 ring gauge ( so 47 64ths of an inch in diameter). This is how cigars are measured (though outside of America they are commonly measured in mm, so a Churchill becomes 47x178. As for the names of sizes... they all...

    Johnny O factory?

I haven't asked Mr. O about these, but my guess is that either they are straight off the rolling table in a factory, or that they are rolled on the side by regular factory workers, as opposed to the "world famous" roller(s) he gets cigars from sometimes.

    What are you listening to?

One of the most beautiful "love" songs ever... From "Music, Martinis, and Misanthropy" 4VmX72629ss The line about Rose McDowell is fantastic, given her wonderful contributions to so much of Boyd Rice's work.

    Show/List your latest CC Purchase

Smoke one now and see how it is. That's the only real way to tell. That said, I love a Monte 4 fresh, and I love an old one too... They can be hit or miss, probably due to massive production, but when they are on they are classics for a reason.

    What's With 6 x 60?

I'm not sure where Nick Perdomo is getting the idea that packing more tobacco in a cigar automatically equals complexity. Frankly, it has been my experience that the most complexity comes from a greater wrapper to filler ratio, which is lost with a large ring gauge. Also, a 60 ring gauge is...

Recent Punch Petit Coronas Del Punch

Honestly, I think they are real. First and foremost... who fakes Punch PCDC when you can fake Cohibas or Montes? No one. Second, all of your concerns other than the one short cigar are things that seem typical of grey market cigars. I have seen all of these things on boxes that I am 100%...

    Horror Movies in October

Anyone else on some marathon shit with horror movies during October? I'm a horror movie nerd anyway, but this time of year it just becomes a nightly thing. Off work today, and I watched Piranha 3-D this morning, which was ridiculous, and honestly not great. Sure, over the top nudity, humor, and...
