BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What's good rott ?
If I'm smoking a young habano, it has to be Ramon Allones, Por Larranaga or H. Upmann. Every thing else needs time to rest, in my opinion. Por Larranaga is an odd one though, smoke them ROTT then after a few months they'll get sick and won't recover for a while, so be aware of that. -

That's how gangstas does it. They also hold their lighters sideways because it looks cool. -

I am a fan of the Siglo I and II, very underrated cigars IMO. You HAVE to try Ramon Allones! The small club corona is a complex little guy, with a gingerbread mixed with a grahame cracker flavor that will knock your socks off! -

Wow, this is the first I've heard. I haven't bought Illusione in a while, the last ones I bought were right when the maduros came out(and they're still resting)...but this doesn't sound good. -

Agreed completely. That's why I try my best to respond to threads about retrohaling, the nose is the MOST important in our perception of flavor. -

I normally don't drink anything while smoking but when I do it's normally a room temperature water. I also have this thing about not slobbering on my cigars, when I put my mouth back on the cigar I want it to be dry. -
Thompson Cigars
I've never ordered from them because I've known people that worked for them and had horror stories. They somehow got my address and send me some very colorful toilet paper TWICE a month. -
Lancero: undesirable size?
Larger RG cigars are also a LOT easier to smoke. The average joe would probably smoke a lancero too quickly and/or let it go out, with a larger RG cigar it's MUCH more forgiving. -
Comparing Cohibas and Montes
I've never had any of them but being one of those winder-shoppers, I read a LOT about these cigars and the general consensus between guys that I trust most out of any CC smokers is this: ...and I swear on my life I was going to type "520 and BHK 54" before even seeing his post. -
Lancero: undesirable size?
Like everyone has said; yup, they're largely unpopular...But look who sells the most cigars, not exactly what most of "us" would buy. -
Robusto Preferences
I haven't tried the Trinidad but I think the BRC is better than the PSD4 and CoRo, as good as RASS(although COMPLETELY different). I find the BRC to be the most complex...RASS is the most flavorful(in my opinion). I haven't tried the JL2 itself but JL is one of my favorite marcas, they age... -
