• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Juan Lopez #1

Many people prefer the #2 to the #1, so enjoy! I personally love the size of the #1 so I haven't bothered trying a #2.

I have heard mostly good from these but it goes to show how different taste palettes can be. Great review, thanks!

    Por Larrañaga Petit Corona's?

From what I find with these is that they are good ROTT...then they get sick and stay sick for a while...after that, they're heaven. Very good ROTT, pretty dull and dirty then just great and flavorful. These are some of the best PC on the market IMO, these and the BPC, different but amazing in...

    What's your favorite $5 stick?

NC: Ambos Mundos Sumatra, you will not find a more flavorful cigar for that price. CC: RASCC, simply amazing cigar, the kicker is the soft gingerbread flavor these come packed with.

    Rafael Gonzales Perlas!

I have nothing helpful to add but I just wanted to comment how nice it is that this size, with a 42 RG is the largest of the line. I've never noticed this as it's a brand that has avoided my thorough attention. I might have to visit it in the future...box split? haha jk.

    Lp # 9 -- meh

Yeah, the wrapper is sooo thin! I think it actually tastes better at that RH...first stick I thought about!

    Lp # 9 -- meh

I find most cigars smoke well at around 62% RH, for my tastes. There are some that I like a bit more wet, closer to 68% RH, like the La Verite 2008 for example.

2008 RE Libano Ramon Allones Phoenicio Sublime

That sounds absolutely amazing! You've done some great reviews recently, we all have seen and read that but this is like your Moby Dick, Gulliver's Travels, War and Peace...this was a masterpiece!

    Lp # 9 -- meh

It's definitely a cigar that likes low humidity, 62% is pretty on-point. Everyone that I've known that didn't like them smoked them ROTT or store their cigars at over 65% RH...so basically both would be what I'd, personally, call high humidity. That's not to say that you just don't like it...

Thank you for not taking that the wrong way, I really tried hard not to offend you. I know Josh well enough to know that he didn't mean anything by his comment and I had to say something when it looked like everyone took it as him critiquing you. Thank you for all your reviews, you're...

2009 Hamlet Robusto Extra closed foot, pigtail custom roll

I loved the review and I respect your choice for the B&W photos...but I have to say that I agreed, I would have loved to see just one pic in color to see the color of the wrapper on such a rare cigar. I hope the other post-ers comments weren't taken the wrong way because I was thinking the same...
