• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Round cigars?

I actually had a round Famoso last week and thought it was great, maybe its the tobacco?? I have never really payed attention to the press of the cigars as I dont think my palete is developed enough for the subtle nuances yet. I am just enjoying the sticks from a lot of places right now as I...

Underwhelmed by a "highly rated stick"

So I just finished a La Traviata tonight, and I was so underwhelmed that I had to write about my dissapointment. It doesn't fit into the reviews section as there were such little amounts of flavors that I would be writing a short review. I dont know if anyone else has had this issue or what, but...

Is it a sin to smoke Black and Milds?

I remember White Owls and Al Capones...those were big with a couple of us when we were younger. I haven't had either in at least 8 years. Wonder how much I would detest them now. Smoke what you want, it's never a bad thing unless you get caught haha.

    Interesting work place last week.

Click on the words that say drag line, not the picture...I have no idea wtf is with the linked part, but it works for me.

    Interesting work place last week.

Went out to the coal drag-lines just outside our city. The site is massive, I travelled down a road inside of the site that was about 2 miles just to get to one of these machines. There are a few of these babies all over the area digging for coal, then processing and shipping on location. I...

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

This is late, but yesterday I had a Vegas Robaina Famosos ... damn good purchase! Tonight I had an amazing Padron 4000 with only 1 month sitting in the humi. It was fantastic, I would put it up against many CC's. I can't wait to try the more expensive Padrons now

    I can't believe I smoked this far !

I know everyone on here has smoked a stick down as far as they could, otherwise known as "nubbing" a cigar, but today I blew past the usual point at which I can keep drawing. I bought a Padron sampler box in Miami at the Padron factory, sat with them for a while and they signed it for me as...

    Something to think about!

I have yet to get one of those PM's, but that seems a bit excessive. Ican get the fact that some people are just all over the "he should get a chance to try this smoke", but if you are getting bombarded a lot, it takes some enjoyment out of things. I would appreciate it more if someone PM'd me...

    Don Tomas Cigars

I think that these are one of the best price/stick cigars out there. I have given plenty of them out to people who are not into cigars, but want to have one if I have a stick going. They have all said it is enjoyable, as the naturals are mild/medium bodied with mild/medium strength. I do not...

    Darkman did it again

Great job, brother. That's fantastic, I wish my company was that cool with stuff, but when there is only 8 people there, it makes for smaller profits heh.

Wow factor cgars - cigars that unexpectedly hit the spot!

How far do you go in nubbing it?

I will take it down untill i burn myself mostly. A thing i have learned a while ago was to purge/push air back through the cigar to get the stick burning all throughout again, take less amounts of draws then once it is back to full fire, wait a few seconds for it to cool and take a nice easy...
