• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

In the market for a new Drip machine

technivorm-something? out of my price range at this point, unfortunately. kev should be able to guide you, and i think dustinspo has the same machine (which makes aMAzing cups!). out of my range right now, but from personal experience an EXCELLENT cup. lemme text the coffee crew...

In the market for a new Drip machine

bunn. hundred bucks, and it will make simple and consistent coffee for decades. also, a wire mesh basket helps a LOT for mouthfeel of cup, and should be available at most grocery stores at this point. IMO if you want GOOD coffee, do slower methods, like pour-over. if you want GREAT coffee...

    Anybody seen this ??

jalapenos. tequila. patience. seriously, you want to spice a vodka, that is about the simplest infusion you can do. just decide how strong you want the flavor and capsaicin. seeds in or out, keels on or off, all can effect the final outcome, and the "angry" level. play with it, all the...

    Where's the Norteno?

figure it is most probably going to roll like the HE, where it is gradually released, first to primary accounts, then slowly outward. and, like the HE, probably not to EVERYONE, but just to key contracts. but, my impression was a post-ipcpr release. we should be seeing them eventually, and...

    Clothing Brands

dickies, industrial cargo. they last me about 6-8 years without giving up, and still hold a pleat. i gotta go from slinging cases to meeting with reps at zero notice, so they work really well for me. color fast, tear and stain resistant, good to roll. also doesn't hurt with thte catholic...

The Official Pipe and Tobacco Deals Thread

no, THAT is a starting rotation for the novitiate. first blush, the tobacco selection seems unnecessarily aro-heavy (to me, anyway), but the briars look to be serviceable. i mean, a SEVEN DAY SET FOR A HUNDO. if i needed it, i would probably bite...

REVIEW: MacBaren Golden Extra, stupid old.

and i honestly should do more cigar reviews, too? laziness, fear, setting back and letting the "professionals" or the "experienced palates" do all the work. end of the day, i always tell people to put it i to words, even if it only stays in their heads, because it makes the sense memory last...

    Old Tin Values ~free tobacco~

so, now that i'm outside of the giveaway range, and to your question; aged tins are worth what people are willing to pay. if it is a limited, it's worth more. if it is hard to find fresh (like ANYTHING germaine right now), it is worth a lot more. if it is from an older blending house, and has...

REVIEW: MacBaren Golden Extra, stupid old.

so, there are questions about "why cellar pipe tobacco?". with thanks to whtwtrman, imma possibly answer a few. so, recently came I to posession of this guy (dicks). ostensibly it is at least twenty years old. it does have a small warning label on the side (the kind slapped on as an...
