  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    If smoking in your car if it shows the AC on even tho it is heating it will work as a de humidifier and cause the issue. I know some people that live in more arid ares then even I and they either wet the wrapper or store at even lower humidity then most consider normal.

    I find it happens a lot to me in the winter if I try and smoke outside. The wrapper dries out and then as the heat hits the filler the filler expands and the wrapper can't expand. It usually isn't a problem in humid climates but here it is common

    Should be great as long storage conditions were good. Humidity should also still be perfect as pease seals the tins well. Hopefully it will have aged well and could be a spectacular tin

    For 62.50 a box I live these. Have picked up 6 or 8 boxes of these and have shared a few of them. Are the best cigar out there? By no means, are they the best 20 min smoke for less then $3? Quite possibly.

    My only thoughts on the 1966's coming around is that they are fantastic really young. By really young I mean fresh off the floor young but turn flat within a little time. I am not sure how they will turn out but i did pick up 50 of them based on my first tastings.

    Always smoke a lot of mk's. Will be a sad day when I run out of 07's. While they may not get a lot of love here where a lot of it is all hype driven I have at least a few friends who consider it there go to brand and when down to only 2 or 3 sizes left in their stock they start to panic.

    I don't have a personal copy we have one at the shop that has been read prolly a thousand times. Great info in there and some great pictures of really rare cigars. Great coffee table book for a smoking lounge but too much for me at home.
