  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    anything at or above maker's mark level is worth drinking neat, IMPO. the 46 has a secondary maturation in a separate and differently charred cask that changes the profile a little. you are paying to taste the difference. then again, it is your booze, and if it makes you enjoy it to mix it...

    yeah, mold usually doesn't go away they easily in real life. it doesn't look BAD, but i would be worried. have you inspected the feet of the cigars? a little on the capis one thing, the possibility of it being in the filler is a whole different game. good luck with it.

    while some can totally walk away from a bowl and return to it a day later,i would say pack it smaller. nice thing about a pipe, you can dial it in to your needs at that moment. and good luck. your schedule sounds screwed, buddy, and i know what a stressor that can be. o)
