I'd take:

SJ over Colorado
Chi over Nash
LA over Van
Detroit over Phoenix

Wash over Mtl
NJ over Phi
Pitts over Ott
Buffalo over Boston

I know it's late but any interest at all in a cigar pool for the playoffs??

We could pick a winner for each series and how many games we think it will go. Points escalate for each round as follows:

Round 1 - Winning Team 1pt, Number of games 1pt
Round 2 - Winning Team 2pts, Number of games 1.5pt
Round 3 - Winning Team 3pts, Number of games 2pt
Round 4 - Winning Team 4pts, Number of games 3pt

Something small like 5 cigars a person, booked on the honor system we can just send them individually to the winner within a week of the stanley cup final game???

I'm in!

I want to give a big shout-out to the Toronto Maple leafs. Thanks for sucking so bad this year and thanks for the 2nd overall pick in June. Go Bruins!

P.S.
Hope you suck next year also!

Well, its not a bad idea but how many would be interested? I will do it if there is interest but if its just you and me, we might as well just exchange another 5'er and be done with it.

I know its much more than even a LONG shot, but I'm proud of the Coyotes this year. After all the turmoil of the past year and even longer, really - to do what they've done, pretty impressive. I personally don't give them much of a chance of getting past Detroit, but it sure would do them good to get out of the first round...

GO COYOTES!

Yotes, Flyers, Sens and Avs win tonight? WTF???

We must be living in that parallel universe today. Good on them though. I was rooting for most of those teams anyways. heh.
