I would love to see a la colmena black honey. I got into cigars too late and missed the boat on those badboys.

You got the El Oso in a lancero. Which I love.
You got the Colmena blend into a couple of great vitolas (personally the original Unico and the Reina are favorites).
You had one of the best releases at IPCPR (Futuro).

The "do" is pretty much keep on surprising us and keeping the quality high.
The "don't" would be maybe don't do a Black Honey-like release, since it keeps the majority of us from even being able to try one. We realize that was a special case of having a very limited number of extra sticks around and releasing them. But man it hurts to be a fan of a new company and not be able to get our greasy palms on a single stick from a line!

I'd also ask a question: other than big RG sticks (please don't), do you believe there is a "hole" in your current lineup -- and what would you do to fill it?

Thanks Kyle & Co.

Glad you are enjoying everything!

I will do my best to keep it all going. This year I am concentrating on the factory operations and the quality more so then a lot of blending. I do have (1) new project that will release at the IPCPR...BUT I have (2) that are competing against one another for the spot. It's consuming my mind all the time, about what to do.

Black Honey was a special case, as you said. But I don't have any limited editions cigars coming this year. We do have some exclusives for stores planned.

I don't do anything over a 52RG. Lonsdale, corona, and a true robusto have been on my mind...a lot.

^^^THIS

Keep surprising us = yes!
Maintain quality = yes!
No Black Honey = Boo!
Fill the hole = in my best female porn star voice, "oh god yes please put it in my mouth"...

Joking aside, this thread has seen recommendations for both a more affordable smoke, and at the same time, to not cheapen the brand. As a guy who just discovered Warped after joining BOTL last year, I think they're established enough that a more affordable smoke would not diminish the brand name. And as long as the stuff we know and love stays the same, I'd love to see Warped go up against everyone else who's competing in that same price range, because I think they would absolutely kill it.

Caveat: I think Warped had the best year of anyone in 2015 in terms of the number of new, high quality, must-smoke sticks. Futuro, Hacienda, Star Flower, Reina, etc.

Do: More with the Reina blend. I had one the other night and it was remarkable. I understand it's going away? Please keep it in production. I've only got 11 or 12 left!

Do: more lanceros. Maybe that BOTL stick could be a lance?

I can't really think of any don'ts other than don't quit.

In other words, keep up the great work.

Reina was done for Mr. Small Batch as an exclusive. Unfortunately, it will not be re made.

When you start talking about affordable smokes, you get extreme differences from people about what their meaning of "affordable" is, so its always hard to pin point a direct price point in that regard. It's not in my plans to have anything sub what La Hacienda currently is, and that's the $7.50/$7.95 price point of La Hacienda (but I may add a new size at some point in the PC region that would be closer to $7.00). While I am constantly approached to do something like that, for right now my concentration is on consistent quality of the lines I do have and releasing this project at the IPCPR that I have been working on since before Flor del Valle was released.

Don't change a thing. Leave the bargain stuff to the other guys, keep your quality and consistency high! It's one of the reasons I love Warped, you guys consistently make great product. I'm willing to pay a couple bucks more for the experience, and I don't say that about many lines.

I agree, every time someone says lower price point I think of Hacienda and I don't think you 'need' to make anything cheaper. There are plenty of cigars out there that are lower priced than that but to me what you're making is worth the little extra

I'd love to see one of the local Kansas City B&M's carry your product. I've been trying to find the Corto in stock online for several weeks and haven't had much luck, sometimes it's easier to find some of that stuff locally.
That must mean it's a great cigar!

Kyle, will the La Colmena see any different vitolas?
Not this year.

Corto will be back in retailers at the end of the month. If you email us your shops you frequent in Kansas City, we can do our best to help you have easier access! help@warpedcigars.com

More coffee recipes/recommendations. I make the Cubano recipe almost everyday at work since you posted it. The espresso machine at work is finally getting used.

So about that botl stick... Any chance?
Not this year, but possibly next year, if there is enough interest!

Absolutely! I have been messing around with some other variations. Glad someone is using the recipe, and helping spread the deliciousness that is Cuban Coffee!!
