Not sure if any BOTL would be interested in coming down to Joplin for this, or not, but wanted to make sure to extend the invitation to you all!!! Should be a great time!

It will be held on Saturday, September 17th, 2011. Complete with German beer, food, beer, Polka music, beer, games... and of course... FRANK IN LEDERHOSEN!!!

I'm finishing up my menu planning... going to be some great German food to enjoy! Plenty of great beer. I will ONLY have German beers on hand! ... and again, Frank in lederhosen!!! I get to debut this Friday evening, at the ErnteFest in Freistatt MO. It's a German festival in a tiny German town southeast from Joplin.

Soft Pretzels with mustard & beer cheese dip
Cheese tray, including a selection of German cheeses
Braunschweiger
Zwiebelkuchen (onion tarts)

Sides:
Brussels sprouts w/bacon
Marinated cucumber salad
Pickled Beets
Spaetzel
Hot potato salad
Red cabbage
Dark rye bread

Mains:
Jaegerschnitzel with forest mushroom cream sauce
Bratwurst on bed of sauerkraut
