Thanks to you Dave for all the work in setting this up (and getting up early to stake our claim to the fire ring). I especially enjoyed the 6-pack of BOTL'ers sitting in a circle shooting the shit, and the cigars weren't too bad either.

Very cool, thanks for posting the pics and glad you guys had a good time. Pete was online during our New Havana Cigar hunt for the Drac boxes and as soon as they sold out, he said he was bolting to your HERF. That's cool of you Pete to be a regular BOTL like all of us and that your fame isn't getting to your head!

But damn, I miss the days of living in nice weather and being close to the beach! I lived in Newport Beach a couple years while my wife went to grad school and then we lived in Hawaii for 3 years before coming back to reality in Seattle. It was pissing rain all day today... like usual during the cold months!?!

I think I can speak for the IE crew that showed, and we had a great time. It was good to meet everyone. Seems as though we just barely missed Pete! Sorry we had to bolt so early! Looks like the night was a good time! Can't wait to do it again, next time we'll stay longer!

The 3rd annual Beach herf is set for 10-16-2010. It's on the calendar, so set your own calendar accordingly. Not sure I can guarantee a celebrity in attendance, but we'll try.

Dave, thank you for your hospitality. I know the IE crew had a great time. I'm glad we were able to have a small session...with the exception of swallowing salt water and puking. I was not able to spend enough time with all the BOTL's that showed up in the afternoon and evening. Next time I will be there from the beginning until the end. Aliso was interesting even after showering at the beach, I still found a ton of sand in all sorts of places.

For Danny...what can I say. You are first international mogul I have ever partied with. Long live Skim Industries and Frisbee International!!!

just got home. Chuck, Pat, Jer and I went back to the beach today (after i had my flat tire fixed - bigass nail) for one last stick!
