Eaters preference I guess, but I wouldn't make it super crispy or anything. I just made turkey burgers the other night and to give them a little fat so that they don't dry out I mixed bacon in. I did cook the bacon before tearing it apart but not very for very long.

You could also do the Slater's 50/50: grind up raw bacon, mix with ground beef 50/50, cook, serve.

Ask Rupe. We took him there when he was out here in May.

OH Yeah!!!

Slaters 50/50 bacon burger with spam, sauerkraut, blue cheese and cheddar on a pretzel roll. Bacon mayo and bacon ketchup too in case there wasn't enough bacon in the burger already.

The San Diego boys sure know how to treat a guest!

Dude, I forgot you threw spam on that!! That was epic!

I played it conservative: Bacon/Beef patty, Pastrami, Sauerkraut, Pickles, Swiss on Rye.
