16 quart wont get you far. Try a regular 100 or 150 quart coleman cooler.

Won't work well if your planning on storing boxes of cigars. Like others have said, better to go larger than you think you will need. Seems that no matter what size cooler or humidor you get it will suddenly be full of cigars.

Thanks Steve, this is a lot better info that I had to go on when I got my 1st Cooler this summer. I might pull everything out and do a little better cleaning and set up fo rmine this week.

I found some larger coolers did not seal as well as the smaller ones. Just keep on eye on that. 150qt will be awfully heavy if you fill er' up, so do not plan on moving it much once you start. Best of luck and glad this was topped for you eyetek.

(PS, Walmart stocks Coleman Extreme 52qt coolers for $21.00 each.)

Dang Steve! Excellent post!! :applause: This would be great to have posted permanently in the FAQ's/storage page. It was very well thought out and written. How about it moderators/admin gods?:help:
