I called Holt's today, no Anjeo are in yet, they said to keep checking it could be any day. They said the Anjeo's also came in December last year.

Nice website! I sent them an e-mail to let me know what they have.

Holt's is my local cigar shop so it would be nice to get them there if possible. Plus the prices are usually great.

Thanks for the link.

The website I posted is a cigar store that is owned and run by the Fuentes. I believe the original Arturo Fuente's brother is the VP, and his son is the president. They get all the good, rare stuff first. Unless you know them well, then you have to order from the front of the store - it is not like a regular shop (I guess they don't want people to see exactly what they have for whatever reason).

Yea that's what I was thinking you had to do too. Atleast that's what I had to do when I was still smoking n/c's. I think it has to be worth $25 or more

Not really. I have been down there about four times in the past three weeks, and each time I have bought the max amount of anejos ( 2 per size per day) and in total about 20 Forbidden X and 4 Untold Stories. They do have really cheap apprentice rolled cigars (some as low as $30 a bundle) that don't taste bad.

The only restriction is 12 anejos a day (two of each size - my favorite is the 55).

But I think for call-in orders, you need to order something over $25 in order to get the good stuff.

I got an e-mail back from them that confirms what Cliff is saying....

"...we have all 6 anejos sizes... 46, 48, 49, 50, 55, 77...from $6.50 to 9 bucks each price range..limit of 2 of each size and with a major purchase of something else in our regular product line of 25 dollars or more..."

Got 6 today from Tampa, should have ordered sooner.

I'm going to find one of these some day so I can try one out.. I'd like to try the OPUS X or Anejos. I'm told (And Read) there good. I think JR/Tohmson has a CD/DVD-Cigar Package?.. Someone tell me where to find these?

I just got off the phone with Holt's, they have one size of the Anejo so far. They have the Reserva No. 46 for $6.50 each with a limit of 2 per day. If the snow holds off until this evening I'll try and get over to pick up two right after work today.

Is it all worth it.

Yes I have tried Anejos.

Yes I have some in my Humidor.

With all the trouble it takes. By a box of Monte#2s or Cohiba Siglo IVs or a nice box of BBFs and enjoy.

The only and best way to get Anejos is to not try. They will come along.

They are good but no cigar is worth all that work ! Buy a Padron 1926 #9 if you cant get an Anejo.

We are talking about an Anejo. A production cigar that is made every year. This is not a rare limited release. They are around.

:peace:

Today my local Holt's put out the Anjeo Reserva No. 77 (Sharks) for $8.50 a pop with a 2 per day limit. I also picked up a Hemingway BTL which they have for $13 with a one a day limit. They look like pretty decent prices to me!
