  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I will eat as many quail as you can put in front of me. I have not, however, hunted them enough to call myself a bird hunter. If we're considering turkeys birds, then on occasion I'm a bird hunter but not a serious one.

I'm a bird hunter, but waterfowl. I would enjoy upland but don't have anywhere close to me. I'm just over the bridge from Memphis in Arkansas

Good bird hunting on public land in the West is non-existent. I think South Dakota for pheasants would be your best bet.
I wouldn't agree with this. AZ, TX, Utah, & Idaho have some of the best upland public land hunting in the states. I spend nearly 50% of my summer Mearns guiding for out of state hunters in Southern Arizona. If your dog's can take the heat, they'll find the birds.
