BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Widmer Drifter Pale Ale. Smoking with a tiny Rocky Patel vintage 1999 Connecticut given to me by a friend. He didn't think much of it and wanted my thoughts.
Fiery beginning with little taste. Last bit of the first third producing some vague, sour notes... burning fast! Second third making me glad I got the friend buying better cigars. Taste seems to be settling in, but so muted that palate craving a real cigar. Mild vanilla coming in, but smoking so fast I'll get maybe 3 minutes of that at most. Last third delivering a stronger, creamy flavor, but still missing the boat. Reminds me of an Acid blondie with a fifth the flavor and taste and a smoke time about half. Turned bitter at the end. Made me want to lick something with some gusto... Feel better about my MK Ultra order suddenly.

I think Im gonna take it to San Antonio and enjoy it with friends. Do another tasting of sorts.

Tonight is gonna be beer nirvana.
After work I am stopping down to O'so's Taproom for a pint of Lakefront Snake Chaser on nitrogen. It's their seasonal Irist Stout. Then a pint of O'so's one off beer that is a belgium ale brewed with Rose hips.
Then going to a friends house for grilled bacon wrapped tenderloin followed by Bourbon Barrel Old Rasputon anniversary beer. After that, we will dive into someother hard to find beers.
I have a feeling that tomorrow morning isn't going to be that fun.

Traded up to LA31 Pale Ale. Was actually pretty good.

Just picked up a case of left hand milk stout, left hand fade to black, and southern tier extraordinary ale. Where to start?? Dont think ive tried any of these yet, its gona be a good night! Now what cigar should I smoke tonight hmmmm
