Reminds of that place @icehog3 went. I can't imagine making so many different beers, but I guess for some it's like riding a bike. Very impressive!

There are several really good breweries within reasonable driving distance...we are lucky. My favorite are the limited run/experimental brews. You get some really unusual and interesting ones...around here that often entails chili peppers/smoked something-or-other/salt and lime as is befitting Texas.

My favorite gimmicky nonsense is the EXTREEEEEME stouts that are like 15% ABV with the consistency of motor oil and supposed to taste like German chocolate cake or something.

Avery's annual Mephistopheles release came out over 19% a few years back. Unfortunately, it tasted like a stout with 3 shots of bourbon poured into it. No subtlety at all.

15%abv and beer don't seem like a good mix. Barleywine at 12-13% is just nasty nasty stuff. The makings for a damn fine headache!
