Honestly, from a strictly professional point of view, I thought it was a trite and overdone marketing concept that was executed in a bland, banal way.
But perhaps I'm just jaded because I work in marketing?

According to an email I got today, they were 500% over quota for sign ups... so it seems they didn't have enough to go around...

I got that also. They need to either take off the shipment banner on the black band website or update it to say "cigars shipping in early June" not "early May."
We'll see.
